Terms of service

Last updated: July 22, 2026

The short version

OneAlbum is a guest photo-sharing service: you create an album for your event, guests add photos and videos through a shared link, and you download everything afterward. Use it kindly, keep your link among your guests, and your photos stay yours.

By creating or using an album, or by adding photos or videos to one, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use OneAlbum.

Your account

You sign in with Google or an emailed sign-in link to create and manage albums. Your albums are tied to that account, so keep access to it, and use the same email if you come back later to manage your event.

Your album and its link

Each album has a long, unguessable link, the one printed on your QR sign. That link is the key to the album: anyone who has it can view the gallery and add photos. You decide who gets it, so share it the way you'd share an invitation.

Your content stays yours

You and your guests keep all rights to the photos and videos you upload. You give us permission to store them, make the smaller copies needed to display the gallery, and package them into your download, and nothing more. We never use your photos for marketing or sell them to anyone.

Content is your responsibility, not ours

OneAlbum is a neutral host. We don't pre-screen, monitor, endorse, or control the photos, videos, or text that hosts and guests upload; those are contributed by people using the service, not by us. You are solely responsible for the content you and your guests add to an album, including having the right to share it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user-contributed content, or for anything that arises from it. If you have a concern about something in an album, the host can remove it from their dashboard, and you can reach us at hello@onealbum.live.

Hosting responsibly

As the host, you run the room: you can hide or delete any upload from your dashboard, and you're the right person to handle a guest's request to take a photo down. Please make sure your guests are comfortable being photographed and shared.

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not upload or share anything unlawful, or content you don't have the right to share, or that infringes anyone else's rights, or that harasses, threatens, defames, or endangers anyone. Illegal content is never permitted under any circumstances. Don't use OneAlbum to distribute malware, spam, or to try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

We may suspend or close accounts

We may suspend, disable, restrict, or remove any account, album, link, or piece of content, for any reason or no reason, at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion, for example to protect people, comply with the law, or keep the service safe and reliable. Where we reasonably can, we'll try to give you a heads-up so you can download your ZIP first, but we're not obligated to.

Downloads and retention

You can download your full album as a full-resolution ZIP from your dashboard at any time. We keep albums around generously and email you reminders before anything is deleted, so you always have time to download first.

Deleting your album

You can delete your album whenever you like. Deletion removes its photos and videos from our servers.

Provided “as is”: the limits of our liability

OneAlbum is a young product in early access. We work hard to keep it reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We can't promise it will always be perfect, uninterrupted, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of or damage to content. Things happen: a device fails, a file won't process, an album is removed. So please download your full-resolution ZIP after the big day. That's what it's for, and it's the surest way to keep your memories safe.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and its date, and flag significant changes to hosts by email.
